Helping leaders communicate more effectively when the message matters most: during launch, growth, market expansion, leadership change, crisis, reputation challenges, public visibility, or major commercial inflection points.
Echo Wall - The Story Behind the Name
Echo Wall is inspired by a historic architectural acoustic phenomenon, most famously seen at the Temple of Heaven. In these curved stone structures, sound behaves in a remarkable way: when a person speaks or whispers toward the wall, the sound waves travel along the smooth, circular surface and converge at a focal point on the opposite side.
This creates what is often called a “whispering gallery effect,” where even the softest voice can be heard clearly across distance, as if it were spoken nearby.
The precision of the wall’s construction is what makes this possible. Its carefully shaped curvature and finely finished surface allow sound to travel with minimal distortion, carrying intention rather than noise.
Visitors experience it as something almost uncanny—one voice, separated in space, returning with clarity on the other side.
That idea is the foundation of Echo Wall: communication that doesn’t scatter or fade, but travels with structure, returns with meaning, and lands with clarity.
Our Founder
Meet the Founder
Echo Wall is a strategic marketing and communications advisory founded on a simple idea: use experience to help good people solve hard problems and pursue their goals.
The name was inspired by Madison’s visit to the Echo Wall at the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, China, a place that stayed with her as both a remarkable feat of human communication and a reminder of our instinct to solve problems creatively. That same spirit carries into the work today: finding clarity, creating connection, and helping ideas travel further.
After 17 years in marketing and communications, Madison found that friends, colleagues, and business leaders increasingly came to her for perspective on a brand, a challenge, a difficult message, a growth opportunity, or simply what to do next. Echo Wall grew from a desire to make more room for that work and to help people and organizations she believes in.
Today, Madison advises organizations on marketing and communications strategy, brand positioning, reputation, growth, organizational alignment, and high-stakes communications. She is also a professor at the University of Scranton, where she brings current professional experience into the classroom.
Her career spans transportation and logistics, telecommunications, e-commerce, technology, media, nonprofit, and the public sector. As Group Chief Marketing Officer of The DDC Group, Madison led global marketing and communications across teams and markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Philippines, and Serbia. Her years serving the trucking sector, along with extensive involvement in industry affairs, fostered a lasting admiration for the broader freight community and the people who keep commerce moving.
Earlier in her career, Madison worked in telecommunications in preparation for 5G, supported public sector commerce initiatives in Georgia and public-private partnerships in Buenos Aires, and developed content programs involving global media brands including CNN, ESPN, Business Insider, and BuzzFeed.
Madison holds a Master’s degree in Integrated Global Communication, has studied international business communication in the United States and China, and is a published social media scholar. Her approach to work and leadership is grounded in her Christian faith, commitment to family, and belief in using her experience in service of others.
At its core, Echo Wall is about putting experience, perspective, and good judgment to work for people who could use a trusted person in their corner.
